Alicja Lesiak parlera de l’Archive of Public Protests (APP), une plateforme semi-ouverte de diffusion d’images liées aux tensions sociales et politiques en Pologne de 2015 à aujourd’hui.

Alicja Lesiak will talk about the Archive of Public Protests (APP), a semi-open platform for distributing images connected with social and political tensions in Poland from 2015 until now.

about Alicja Lesiak (born 1988 in Góra), visual artist and designer living in Warsaw. Member of the Archives of Public Protests founded by Rafał Milach (member of Magnum Photos). Her work lately focuses on documentary photography, but she romances with different kinds. The way she photographs seems to be influenced by her long experience in design as even if a lot happens she tries to keep it « clean ». Some of her works have been featured in National Geographic, Calvert Journal, Huffington Post (IT), Year Zero, 9 Lives (FR), Lilith Mag (NL). Until last year, she had no interest in photography. Being a freshman leaves a space for interesting mistakes and rules does not apply to you.
