I gladly accepted the invitation to be the sponsor of the “Circulation(s) festival because it’s essenttial to find an interface between emerging talents and the working world. If it is hard to truly achieve fame, beginnings can be even harder. What is the saying again , “You have to start somewhere?” But nowadays, this somewhere cannot be anywhere. Given the multiplicity of events and cultural plurality, the dissemination of artists’ work has to be wide enough for the public, ans especially professionals ro really take an interest in them. That is where the Circulation(s) festival comes in. Together with others festivals, wether recent or historical, they help expand the large European web, so specific to the wolrd of photography. In fact, except for a few fine exceptions, a Frenchf festival for young photographers with a real European dimension was missing. Furthermore, in addition to the festival highlight does Fetart act on several levels to orchestrate other events throughout the year in order to promote emerging artists.
