Saturday 28th April 2018 – Robert Frank – L’Amérique dans le viseur – Don’t blink

A prominent figure in the second half of the twentieth century, Robert Frank has made the image the primary material of his creativity. Companion of the Beatnik movement, author of the cult book “The Americans”, he gives generously and humor in this fascinating portrait.

An intimate documentary dedicated to photographer and filmmaker Robert Frank, author of the famous book “The Americans”.

 

Sunday 29th April 2018 – Focus Iran, l’audace au premier plan 

a movie by Nathalie Masduraud et Valérie Urréa , 2017 – 52 min

Through the eye of five young photographers, the movie talks about today’s Iran, its youth, its vitality, far from Western clichés. In a country where culture and art remain under the control of the state, these artists have chosen despite the constraints and difficulties to stay in their country, by pride and passion.

Five great Iranian photographers testify to the vitality of a creation that must circumvent the rules and censorship.
