2017Carte Blanche

This photographic series is an observation of the blurred boundaries between private and public life. A room-like set was created and placed in a public space. The viewer becomes the observer who “peeps” at a private moment.
The installation was transported then assembled in several locations. The selection of the location was based on the diversity of the urban morphology. A person was placed in the room without any rehearsal or specific guidance. The word was to “feel like home”. And each “resident” managed to feel at ease, despite the presence of many pepople walking down the street. When the “inhabitation” was achieved, the publicly exposed private moment that occurred, was captured.
