Des sneakers comme Jay-Z

Projection of portraits and words of exiles around the importance of clothing in their journey.
This is happening this winter in the cloakroom of the reception center of the Porte de la Chapelle. There, volunteers who distribute clothing to the guests are struck by their anxiety (worry) about it. The choice of clothing is difficult.
They decide to understand why. To question them about what is happening at this precise moment when they decide to wear such or such an outfit.
The shape of a jacket or the material of a shirt, the size of a sweater … everything is significant. The garment represents them and embodies their fears as well as their dreams.
Photographs of Frédéric Delangle and Ambroise Tézenas. Words collected by the volunteers of Emmaus Solidarités.
Screening followed by a debate in the presence of photographers, volunteers and the deputy DG of Emmaus Solidarity.
