Lucky, a former cowboy, spends his days in Las Vegas drinking and sleeping in his car. His resourceless life oscillates between fantasy and fiction as he enters in a surreal cycle of drinking and hallucinations. Reality slowly erodes as we follow his descent.

Internationally renowned, Kourtney Roy is a photographer and director born in 1981 in Ontario, Canada. Fascinated by the creation of a tragic mythology of the self, she imagines an intimate universe where wonder and mystery rub shoulders. With her photographic writing, places and spaces are sources of inspiration whose poetics underline the banality and the everyday life, a glossy world that cracks under the artist’s dearest outbursts of self-mockery.
