METAMORPHOSIS - Charlotte MANO and Muriel NISSE

Performances and installations - CIRCULATION(S) 10 YEARS

For the 10th edition of CIRCULATION(S), the photographer Charlotte MANO offers a close-door, intriguing and fanciful performance full of poetry. Mixing thermal photography, contemporary dance and video projection on the theme of the metamorphosis, the three young artists immerse the spectators in a dark and dreamlike universe, metaphor of metamorphosis.

XiaoYi LIU, trained in traditional Chinese and contemporary dance at the University of Shenzhen, collaborates as much with directors as David BOBÉE (“Elephant man”, “Louées-Elles”) as with luxury brands (Kenzo, Hermès , Yves Saint Laurent, etc.)

Muriel NISSE, a graduate of the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, specializes in the creation of masks and head ornamentation. She brings together embroidery, hair and various materials to give birth to precious organic textures assembled in dreamlike pieces halfway between haute couture, plastic expression and performing arts.
