Located in the heart of Porto, in an area where galleries abound, Adorna Corações enjoys the full vitality of a booming city. The gallery space approaches photography in a contemporary and transversal manner.

With six exhibitions a year, Adorna Corações offers a balanced and powerful programme, from renown photographers (Bruno Boudjelal, Michael Ackerman) to lesser-known Iberian artists (Ivan Da Silva, Nelson Miranda). By showing images as a multidisciplinary art form, it aims to help its audience to learn more about the medium via a parallel programme of talks, opportunities for sharing and conferences.

Over the past fifteen years, Estefania De Almeida has focused all her energy on maintaining the demanding pace of the place she has created, while pursuing an ever-renewed ambition within the Portuguese art scene.
