FROM IMAGE TO OBJECT

Between presentation and photographic representation

Contemporary creation shows a great diversity of relationships with the object. Staged in the image or presented in the form of an installation, it is taken in a round trip between real presence and figurative presence. The object thus worked – in the image and outside the frame – involves the imagination or even the physical participation of the spectator. It generates, depending on its context, a plurality of reflections around the representation of space, place and territory that will be deciphered.
