ERBETTA Alejandro

Reprises

France

2012

Reprise is a photographic, autobiographical documentary about immigration. It follows Alejandro’s great-grandparents’ voyage from Italy, where they were born, to Argentina where they emigrated. His idea was to retrace their steps, rebuilding their itinerary through images, documents and stories, interspersed with photos of his trip, a family album and archive images. This project deals with essential questions regarding our identity and our links with History.
