After studies of Analysis and Economic Policy, Chau Cuong Lê takes time to travel. A letter-writer for a while, then worked on Samu social, he trains in Photojournalism in 2003 in the EMI-CFD. At the same time, and until 2009 he takes part in projects within the framework of the collective BaSoH (studio photos in schools, reports for the Secours catholique, on the 20 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall). In 2008, he(it) enters the studio Rouchon and teaches it the light of studio. He(it) assists then other fashion photographers, advertising and still life. Today, he shares his activity between commands and personal projects in connecting with the intimacy and the report to the family.

He is a member of Studio Hans Lucas since 2015, coopted by Wilfrid Estève.
