The “Me and the other” series highlights the spaces of ambiguity. Through an esthetic inspired by Renaissance painting and baroque art, the author takes us to places where temporal actions are indefinite.

About the artist
Sandy Volz is a German-American artist based in Berlin. A fine-arts graduate of the Bremen university of arts, she takes part since 2009 to the “Kill Your Darlings” project with other young photographers. She won many prizes in Germany and was nominated for the Young Masters Art Prize in London in 2012. Her work was also presented in international exhibitions and her works are in many collections. In 2012 her first book After Dark was published by Revolver in Berlin.
