“Between Finger and Thumb” is an autobiographical work that addresses the issue of memory within the context of family and the domestic environment. In prepared scenes, she transforms the real space of her childhood home into a fictional space.

About the artist

A French-Mexican photographer, Alexandra recently graduated from Westminster University in London. Her work is mainly autobiographical, and she recently earned an honourable mention in the Prix de la Photographie de Paris (PX3 2011). Her work has featured in various online publications and has been exhibited in both group and solo exhibitions across London. She is also part of the Intimate Space project organised by the Brazilian artist Georgia Creimer for the 2012 Youth Olympic Games.
