Laura Ben Hayoun followed home deliverers, shot them with a smartphone. She and the deliverers had the same tools – a bike and a phone – but they used them in different ways.
Their gestures and uniform testify in their own way about a contemporary taylorism. The repetition is accompanied by moving flows of new technologies, where precariousness of employment falsely looks like freedom.

About the artist
Laura Ben Hayoun was born in 1984, in Valence, France. She lives and works in Paris. After studying anthropology and documentary filmmaking, she studied for a Master’s in Photography and contemporary art in Paris 8 University.
