Located in Montparnasse since 1996, Esther Woerdehoff gallery is one of the only French gallery exclusively dedicated to photography.
It proposes a classical selection of renowned photographers from the second half of XXth century (René Burri, Frank Horvat, Edouard Boubat, Philipp Giegel, René Groebli) and the substantial collection of Swiss photographer Karlheinz Weinberger.
It however also gives a special place to European contemporary photography, notably with established artists such as Chema Madoz, Simone Kappeler or Thierry Cohen.
It encourages talents discovery, like Elene Usdin, Juliette Bates or Iris Hutegger who, firstly exposed by the gallery, are now globally exposés d’abord par la galerie, bénéficient désormais d’une reconnaissance internationale.
With 6 to 8 excitions per year, a regular participation to art fairs and numerous projects in partnership with museums and institutions, Esther Woerdehoff gallery is an essential place for photography collectors and amateurs from all over the world.
