Explosion of Colors

— Studios Photo

Dive into Alice Murillo’s vibrant and ultra-colorful universe! This inclusive and warm photo session is based on an explosion of colors – from outfits to studio decor, and on movement – accentuated by the omnipresence of vaporous fabrics. Muslin flies and long exposure gives way to chance. Light dances, creating unexpected artifacts. The image is fixed but full of movement at the same time. As a memento, a sunny portrait filled with joy!

Additional Information: Maximum 5 people. Favor colorful outfits, no white. Patterns are encouraged, but avoid fine stripes.

About the artist

Born in 1988, Alice Murillo works in Paris as a portraitist for the press and regularly collaborates with artistic circles. Her work resembles positive anticipation photography, in which she blurs reality and creates a dreamlike world where all bodies find their place. She works on the place of women in public space, but also on more intimate subjects with her series on friendship and on sapphic coming in. In 2024, she exhibits at UPP, wins the photo contest of Gaze magazine, and sees her Creatures series published in Première Exemplaire Magazine. In 2025, she exhibits at the Cineffable festival.
