North of everything

2012 -

This series of photographs ”North of everything” constitutes a questioning of reality, fiction and prejudice. It illustrates inhabitants from the Nord Pas de Calais region, North of France. Bruno Clément stages everyday people revealing how they can both be invisible and embody a deep tragic dimension. To emphasise this dimension, fictional texts accompany the photographs.
