Since its beginning, the Circulation(s) festival, organised by Fetart, has been dedicated to the young European photography, and aims at discovering talents, federating European actifs and making people discover innovative contemporary artistic creation. Based on a large exhibition of European photographers within Centquatre, Paris, pedagogical activities (visits commented by artists, projections…) and workshops (portfolio readings) are organized both for young photographers and the general public. In four years, this event has become a key moment of photography.
This book is the 2017’s festival book, and the resonance box of a whole generation of artists conquering new artistic lands. The work of each photographer is presented on two pages, and is accompanied by their biography and a presentation of their project.
A texte by Hercules Papaioannou, 2017’s godfather, accompanies the photographs.
Each year, this catalogue is a useful tool for the general public as well as for professionals.
