The idea of the fragility and relativity of the foothold.

How to be simultaneously present (telling, answering, resonating) and in movement?

How to let the disavantages of uncertainty function as advantages?

You. The permanent closeness of the other one makes time move.

About the artist

Krista Mölder was born in 1972. She lives and works in Tallinn, Estonia. She graduated in photography from the Estonian Academy of Arts and obtained a Master’s degree from Westminster University in London. Krista Mölder teaches photography at the Academy of Arts in Tallinn since 2003. Her main source of inspiration lies in the connection between people and space. Most of her photographic work is marked with melancholy and refers to the absent ones, while still assuming that the observant is active. Her exhibitions are more and more adapted to the space they take place in. The artist gives more and more importance to the spatial context even outside of her photographs.
