About the artist
Born in 1976, Tony is a Swedish photographer who lives and works in Malmö, Sweden. He has a bachelor degree in photography from FAMU, the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. His work has been shown in various exhibitions in Sweden, Norway, Spain, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2006 he was nominated for the prestigious Infinity Award by ICP New York, and received the Claës Lewenhaupts Grant in 2008. In this series, it is as if nature has taken over after some grand catastrophe that has destroyed civilisation.
