“(…)The absurd structures establishing relationships between humans and objects, cheap and used, such as a piece of fibreboard or a pair of women’s tights, are suffused with emptiness and quietude. This is further fostered by the minimalist aesthetics of the photographic image, its bright and subdued colour range. Still, what strikes the most is the lack of any expression of the figures, of whom it is difficult to state whether they are pensive or just linger there unthinkingly. Their distance and refusal to engage in any contact induces a mild melancholy. Paradoxically, the withdrawn, shut-out figures have been bound, incapacitated or overwhelmed by objects, which in themselves are utterly powerless…(…)”

About the artist

Born in 1984, in Poland, based in Warsaw, he was graduated from the Film School in Lodz, then often exhibited and received in residences sponsored by A Foundation and Saatchi Online in Liverpool. In 2010, the work done with artist Dorothy Buczkowska was selected for a poster of Paris Photo. He is now looking the way to develop his photography through installations.
