CHASSARY Amélie & BELARBI Lucie

Huis-Clos

France

2012

“Huis-clos” is a series of photos created by Amelié and Lucie together, placing the characters within the realm of rituals and family customs. The photographic approach emphasises the link we all have with the spaces we occupy and the objects we own. The people in the photographs are shown repeating gestures specific to a naturalistic intimacy, seen within a prepared context.
