This research is expressed in his commissions and in the personal project he began in 2008 in Rio de Janeiro. This work is the story of an encounter and then a quest. Rio is the setting, the night is the common thread, and Jane is the main figure.

About the artist
Vincent Catala was born in 1975. He lives and works in Paris. He received a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property at McGill University, Canada. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as a journalist for L’Express and Le Nouvel Observateur and he works as a photographer since 2005.
His photographic approach questions the relationship between individual and space.
